Current status — French brand, Chinese and French production:  Baudouin today operates as a subsidiary of Weichai Power. Engine design and engineering is a combination of the original French engineering heritage and Weichai's own development capabilities. Some Baudouin engine families are produced at the Cassis facility near Marseille (France); others are produced at Weichai facilities in China using Baudouin specifications and quality control.
